Experience

Reinilda van Heuven Dernison, a Neuro-Health Psychologist and Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, holds 20+ years of expertise in child and adolescent psychiatry (Bascule Amsterdam/Hilversum). Notably, she contributed to the first Handbook of Neuropsychology in the Netherlands, focusing on memory disorders. Her publications cover topics like severe dyslexia, neuropsychological assessment, and anxiety. For a decade, she's been a dedicated educator for prominent postgraduate courses in Health Psychology and Cognitive Psychology in the Netherlands. She's also worked within multidisciplinary teams in the Middle East for 7 years and as a freelance psychologist for major universities in Doha. Serving as the chair of the DPR group, she facilitated a professional platform for psychologists and played a role in implementing the autism strategy and mental health initiatives in schools.
