Mrs. Al-Kharusi is the Managing Director at AHMC, supervising therapists and staff while emphasising a holistic approach that blends mental and physical well-being. She specialises in various areas, offering therapy for individuals, families, children, and adolescents. Her expertise covers a wide range of challenges, including family conflicts, behavioural disorders, depression, anxiety, and more. Mrs. Nutaila's skills extend to conducting workshops on mental health concerns and intervention strategies, and she's well-versed in therapies like ACT, Schema therapy, EMDR, CBT, and Virtual Reality Therapy. She founded AHMC's Psychology Department in 2007withing AHMC, establishing Oman's first private mental health clinic. Her earlier roles as a Behaviour Change Analyst at Petroleum Development Oman DO and a Psychology Lecturer at Mazoon College emphasise her commitment to clinical practice and academic contribution. Currently, as of September 2022 Nutaila is pursuing her PhD in Public Health in Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), Oman, researching on pathological social withdrawal (Hikikomori) in Oman.
