Dr. Nawal Al Mahyijari is a Board-certified General Adult Psychiatrist with a vast experience, including a Clinical Fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. She has worked in Oman's Ministry of Health, played a key role in establishing a Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Unit at the Royal Hospital, and continues her impact at a cancer care centre. An active researcher, she's certified in Emotional Intelligence and Clinician-Patient Communication Skills. Dr. Nawal's dedication to women's mental health led her to establish Oman's first Combined Women’s Mental Health Clinic and engage with the International Association for Women’s Mental Health. She volunteered in the Oman Mental Health Network during the pandemic, excels in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and holds diverse mental health training certifications.
