Experience
Dr. Mohammed leads consultation liaison psychiatry services at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital. He works with adults suffering from mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety, panic disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia to help them achieve functional recovery and improve their quality of life. He has completed training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and takes a person- and family-centered, multidisciplinary, and bio-psycho-social approach to assessment and management. He recently completed a PhD in organizational psychology, focusing on job-related burnout, well-being, and engagement. He gives workshops on communication skills and workplace well-being. He has over 45 published articles in psychiatric and psychology journals.
