Laura Noufal

Experience

Laura is an Accredited Art Psychotherapist who believes that through Art people can express and explore feelings that may be confusing or difficult to communicate verbally. Through Art Psychotherapy, Laura provides a creative and conversational space to explore and view issues in a critical and curious manner to help them gain insight, process emotions, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves. She combines art therapy and psychotherapy to help individuals explore and address emotional, psychological, and behavioral issues. Her clinical experience includes following a psychodynamic, client-centered approach that is culturally sensitive and offers her services in both English and Arabic. Her previous experience also includes working with both children and adults in both psychiatric and educational settings, who struggle with emotional or mental health issues, have learning disabilities, brain injuries, and life-limiting conditions.
